Klee Music Acoustic Night 08.06.19
June 8 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm£7.50
The second Klee Music Acoustic Night of the 2019 programme is an absolute cracker. We have Marc Vormawah, Alan O’Hare and Vanessa Murray.
Marc Vormawah, once of the legendary John Peel favourites “Personal Column” from the 1980’s, has never stopped writing and has developed a style with elements of Bacharach, Steely Dan, Gilbert O’Sullivan and the great Jimmy Webb. But it is his live appearances that makes his shows something special – not to be missed.
Alan O’Hare can usually be found fronting “Only Child”, who are enjoying the plaudits for their third album, “Emotional Geography”, which sees this songsmith “reach new creative heights”. Political, humane and thought – provoking, reactions to his work are both cerebral and visceral.
We welcome back Tony McCaldon, who played the second ever Klee Music Acoustic Night. He is currently recording his debut album for Klee Music, with an EP due out in November 2019.
Vormawah, O’Hare and McCaldon: the ingredients for an incredible night!
